Do we fight the trend or give into it? Given busy lives, most people choose convenience over the logistics required to physically show up. Has COVID and our successful use of technology doomed us to an even more severe type of "bowling alone" in which we don't even show up to the bowling alley anymore, and become more insular, not creating the kinds of casual community moments that happened so much pre-COVID? What implications does that have for places whose value is creating community?

Synagogue affiliation was already struggling to attract young adults. Doesn't it seem this trend will now be accelerated post Covid?
